I am a first year medicine student at Monash university and am available to tutor at my residence in Clayton and at the state library on weekends. I am also available for online sessions (as I currently do with a couple students).
My interests in high school were mostly science and math based, however I am also very interested in politics, political science, music and debating. I play saxophone and clarinet, and have represented my school many times in various public speaking and debating – even being lucky enough to represent Ballarat twice! I have always struggled with English, but worked very hard on it through my later years in high school and was lucky enough to achieve a study score of 45 (A+). My interest in maths and science (particularly biology and pharmacology) translated into my carrer choice in the health services industry, and having gone through the extensive process of entering medicine myself I would be happy to help you through the ridiculous amount of steps. I also offer tutoring for medical interviews.
My tutoring is quite flexible, for some students I focus on developing a strong understanding of the content, for others I focus on translating a deep understanding into exam performance, and for most I do a bit of both. My tutoring also includes services outside of our contact time, such as practice exam marking and preparing resources for supplementary lessons. Feel free to ask me anymore questions about how my services can benefit you best!
